Hobo bags are a style of handbags with a top opening, typically zipper closure, and a single shoulder strap or handle. The sides of hobo bags curve upwards or become a part of the handle/strap, giving the bag a 'U' shape. Hobo bags are typically wider at the base of the bag than at the top.

My wife wanted an inexpensive white summer bag and I wanted one that looked tasteful and stylish in a classic way. This was what we settled on and it's a great bag for the money. There are cheaper ones but they look cheap. There are also ones that look better and are probably better made (hence 4 rather than 5 stars) but those are significantly more expensive.

Own several Baggallinis and was not disappointed with this one either. As in all their designs, this has lots of compartments, nooks and crannies. It's a great weight too, not heavy at all. It holds more than a hobo bag and is much lighter. The strap extends to cross body for ease and hands free shopping and is thick enough to not slip off your shoulder when placed there too. Love all baggallinis, never disappoints.

I purchased this purse in the black/white Kaleidoscope pattern. It is the perfect size. I love the outside and inside pockets. I have already received so many compliments and even strangers have stopped me asked where I purchased the purse. I am also very pleased with the quality and absolutely love the fact that it is made in the USA.

Primarily attracted to this bag for it's size and outside pockets. Perfect for everyday use and to even hold 8x11 papers, a magazine, etc. The other big plus is that it is so lightweight. Leather is too heavy for me; adds weight to what I carry. The other aspect is the single strap. Double straps make me nuts. So, all in all, a perfect bag with good cholor choices.
