Good but not perfect

I do really like this bag, it is very sharp. Everyone says at how nice and professional it looks. I also think it will be a bag that will last a long time, it has very, nice quality leather. It rolls great and the fact that it detaches is wonderful although its not easy to re-attach quickly. It even comes with a little rain jacket for the case that is hidden in the rolley part.What makes it less than perfect? Its heavy, even empty. Add stuff to it and it is really heavy. It is also not very roomy, at least when its new. It will hold the essentials but nothing more. I use it for travel and I could not pack a light change of clothes in addition to my office basics. I have also had it get caught in the aisles of some planes. The leather is very stiff, but I am assuming that it will end up being perfect once it gets worn in. I have had mine for about 5 months and it still looks brand new.

McKlein Glen Ellyn detachable laptop case

Love the bag overall - however, I now have the handle extension stuck inside the mechanism and cannot use the wheelie part. Am waiting to hear back from McKlein on solutions. They need a better way to keep the handle from getting stuck. I have seen reviews by others with the same problem so I am not alone.

I fell in love with the styling - removable wheels, etc. I bought the black with red trim. I use mine daily to "carry" my laptop from home to the office and back again. The wheels are the right size which makes the bag roll smoothly. Everyone comments on how "sharp" this bag is. I have the Glen Ellyn (15 inch). It fits under airplane seats and is the right size to "roll" down the aisle of the airplane.

Best briefcase ever...

I bought this bag for work, and specifically because of the detachable wheels option. I will often be traveling by air and felt the wheels would make the bag a lot easier to deal with. Well, I just got back from my first big business trip with it, and it was awesome. Well constructed, beautiful color (aqua), love the removable wheels. My male boss is an engineer and is suitably impressed with it. I like the tiny interior compartments for pens, cards, phone, etc. It fits comfortably under an airplane seat, but would be tough to hoist in to the overhead bin when full. I would definitely buy this bag again.
